coolant analysis

Specialty coolants must be mixed properly and maintain low levels of contaminants to properly cool critical rotating equipment, as well as perform as designed in low temperature environments. Several of the same tests apply to both coolants and lubricants, but we also apply ion and gas chromatography and compare used samples to unused samples to ensure proper glycol blending and detect hazardous contamination levels in the coolant. The differences between coolants per equipment and application can be subtle, and we know how to look for those subtleties to determine whether a fluid is acceptable for continued use.
