Large frame turbines require over 1000 gallons of rust and oxidation mineral or synthetic oil to continuously cool, clean, and protect all of its friction rotation points. Air entrapment, water contamination, and overheating will initiate lubricant oxidation. Undetected problems extinguish years of life from the lubricant, which lead to early equipment shut down.
We want your turbine oil to last ten years, and we highly recommend preventive maintenance through Annual Turbine Analysis. See our recommend Turbine Oil Analysis Test Slate. It’s a once a year extensive check-up designed to either launch you into another year of uninterrupted service or detect an early stage issue that could undermine machine reliability if not eradicated.
